The Somerset Tapestry of Health is a community based non-profit organization that provides a variety of services to individuals and families living in Somerset County. We are a branch of the Family Health Council of Central Pa and currently serve over 18,600 families a year in Somerset County. We provide comprehensive nutritional screenings and educational services through our Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Program.

If you are having trouble paying your grocery bills, get help in a…SNAP! The prescreening and application process for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) can now be completed right in our Somerset office. If transportation is an issue, we can even do applications over the phone. If you are having trouble keeping up with your grocery bills, SNAP may be the perfect resource for you. Many Somerset county residents qualify for SNAP benefits and may not even realize it. An eligible family of four can receive up to $632 a month to help pay for their grocery bills.
